Single...maybe, but not for long. January 21st is the day my niece, Olivia, gets married so today we celebrated the bride-to-be by showering her with gifts and having a wonderful time at her bridal shower.
Below is her mom, Jennifer; myself; Olivia and my sister, Barbara.
Jennifer is married to my brother so Barbara and I are Olivia's aunts.
I can hardly believe she will be married because she has always been a little girl to me. Time flies by and little girls grow up. We are so happy for Olivia and we had a great time at her wedding shower meeting her friends, co-workers and family members of her fiancé. The shower was at her future mother-in-law's house with lots of refreshments
including a hot cocoa bar. Yummy.
And, of course, games...
The games were very fun games -all about us learning more about Olivia and her fiancé. Like this one - "he said, she said" - where we had to hold up lips or a mustache depending on who we think said it. (The circled ones are correct... I didn't do too bad, actually)
I didn't do as good on this one only getting half correct.
The best game was when Olivia had to answer questions about her fiancé and each time she got a wrong answer she had to eat a marshmallow (from the cocoa bar). Surprisingly, she got a lot of wrong answers.
Even with a mouth full of marshmallows, Olivia is always picture perfect.
The grand finale was opening the presents, everyone's favorite part.
From Miss to Mrs.
Congratulations, Olivia.
We love you.
