Touchdown For Tots

Last night, we attended  Touchdown for Tots   to raise money for Seattle's Children's Hospital   and it was a very fun and special evening.  The theme was football and during the event the Washington Husky football game was being played on the big screen.  The dress attire for this fundraiser was to wear your favorite sports team colors and most people were either Husky or Seahawk fans.  The Huskies are rated #4 in the country this year with a new coach, Chris Peterson, who just came to Seattle three years ago from Boise State.  He was very popular in Boise when we lived there, everyone called him "Coach Pete".  (I guess you could say we followed him to Seattle.) Maybe it's just me but I think he looks a lot better in purple and gold - but then I'm partial because I'm an old Husky myself. Anyway, now the Huskies are doing really great under Coach Peterson and the whole city is ecstatic.  The University of Washington hasn't ...
