Flora Farm

After a week in Cabo San Lucas, the highlight of our eating experience would have to be our little adventure to Flora Organic Farm. What a beautiful oasis. It is more than just a restaurant. It is also a housing development- a small one of only ten homes or what they call Culinary Cottages which you can also rent for your vacation. This is a community that lives off the land by cultivating their own organic foods in gorgeous fashion. The restaurant serves all homemade food with farm fresh ingredients grown at Flora Farm and the meats are bought from a nearby ranch where the animals are raised humanely without hormones or antibiotics. You get a sense of their wholesomeness by just wandering around their grounds  that just scream at you "come on in and settle down". You can't possibly feel more at home here. Like I said, it is more than just a restaurant - it is an experience. Their menu

Mama's Royal Cafe

We are not going hungry in Cabo San Lucas this week.  We went to the "the best breakfast in the country" and I think they might be right! Mama's is walking distance from our hotel and we have started to enjoy mornings by walking to the marina and then into town where we are finding lots of places recommended by others, including Cabo Wabo that owner Sammy Hagar, the front man for the band, Van Halen, opened in 1990 and now is a very popular restaurant/night club in Cabo.  Mama's is suppose to have the best breakfast so that's where we headed.  There's nothing fancy about it but then this is Mexico.  We started off with mango and papaya juice  while we enjoyed entertainment by a father/son duo who play La Bamba for us and they were really good! I ordered Mama's famous French toast that was stuffed with cream cheese and topped with mixed berries and Bruce ordered Eggs Benedict stuff
