Every trip to Seaside means a trip to the neighboring town of Cannon Beach, home of the famous Haystack Rock. We always spend some time here when we come to the Oregon coast. Besides being such a beautiful spot, Cannon Beach is also known for it's popular kite flying on the beach and there was certainly enough wind on this day to fly your kite. There is usually not any shortage of wind on the Oregon coast. I liked the space shuttle kite. After playing on the beach and enjoying the sights it was time for a refreshment.
