Last night, we had the best meal of the trip so far since we arrived in Europe.  It was Bruce's birthday and his work group took us out to see some sights and it was a wonderful evening. We all met up at the BoMill office which - again - is within walking distance from our hotel in Lund, Sweden. Their office is on one of the cutest and most charming streets in town.  I had been walking around town during the day and snaped this photo of the police on horseback - and the BoMill office is in the background and I didn't even know it at the time. (It's the building in the shade) I mean, can you possibly pick a more charming building? The BoMill group took us to dinner at a little seaport restaurant at the most southwestern point of Sweden, passed the town of Malmo. Last night before dinner, we had a little educational session set up by the  BoMill company , the company that set up the meetings here in Lund, Sweden for Bruce to attend.  There are a total of 12 people here attending the meetings with Bruce, all from various countries;  the Czech Republic, Italy, Canada, Sweden and U.S.   Also here, is Mr BoMill himself - Bo Lofqvist.  The company is from Lund, Sweden and distributes worldwide. Since the main function of the BoMill is to sort wheat and barley, they saw it fitting to do a little exercise on how whiskey is made. Yesterday, we toured the Lund Cathedral that is situated in the middle of town, here in Lund, Sweden.    It is the oldest church in the Nordic region, built in 1080's.  The Cathedral School was established in 1085, making it Scandinavia's oldest school. This is only a couple blocks from our hotel so it is an easy walking distance.  In fact, everything in Lund is within walking distanc e.    It is a town of 110,000 people but residents here say that 50,000 are the students at Lund University which is also a couple blocks away.  It is so fun walking around the quaint streets and looking at all the historical buildings.    It is definitely a college town but a very cute college town.  The Lund Cathedral really stands out with it's mighty twin towers.  It is a Lutheran cathedral but was build as a Catholic cathedral until the Swedish Reformation in the 1500's which meant a break with the Catholic church and made Swed...
