I am thankful for so many things this year I don't know where to start. First of all, I am thankful to be home again in Seattle. Thankful of our cozy, comfortable house, fun neighborhood and beautiful views. Thankful for being close to at least one of my children...Nick can't be here, he is flying to Singapore for work again, as we speak. He sent us this photo saying he is spending his Thanksgiving on a Boeing Dreamliner.
But I'm thankful that both my children are happy in their lives and that I am able to see Lauren on a regular basis. I am thankful for the sun that shines in and warms up our house every morning (or at least most mornings so far that we've lived here). And thankful to be able to watch the moon rise out our window - and last night was a gorgeous one.
I am thankful for being healthy and that I can enjoy all the beautiful nature around me and the beauty that this city has to offer. I am thankful for our Pre-Thanksgiving walk and I am thankful for the abundance of food available to us. I am thankful to have a sister who is cooking Thanksgiving this year so I've just been able to relax all month. I am thankful for all my yummy recipes I have and am able to share on my blog and can't wait to dig in within a few hours! And I am thankful for pumpkin pie, my most favorite of the Thanksgiving meal. Do we have to wait until the end to eat dessert?
I wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving, from my family to yours.
